The MOA Autumn Scientific Convention in Grand Rapids is now in its 15th year. What started as a small CME event has grown to over 300 attendees, a robust Science Research Exhibit competition and plenty of break out events at the beautiful Amway Grand Plaza Hotel. This year we are encouraging our members to "Bring a Colleague!" Let us know the name of a colleague who is new to the MOA, but registering to attend the Autumn Scientific Convention and receive $50 off your registration fee. Just give us call at 517/347-1555 and tell us the name of the colleague to receive $50 off your registration fee. 

Please be aware that large events are occurring simultaneously at the Devos Center.
Traffic and parking may be impacted. Please allow extra time for travel.

MOA Scientific Research Exhibit Competition

The Michigan Osteopathic Association hosts a Scientific Research Exhibit (SRE) twice yearly. These competitions provide osteopathic medical students, residents, fellows and attending level physicians an opportunity to present their medical and scientific research to our profession. The SRE competition demonstrates the very best of what osteopathic medicine is and reaffirms the profession’s commitment to the advancement of science in osteopathic medicine.

Connect to one of the fastest-growing health care professions in the country. Over the past 30 years, the number of osteopathic physicians (DOs) practicing in the U.S. has more than tripled. The MOA Autumn Convention attracts more than 350 osteopathic physicians, interns, residents and healthcare professionals, including practice managers, who are engaged in an educational and hands-on learning forum. Visit with physicians during scheduled breaks throughout the day. This convention attracts DOs from all over the state and Grand Rapids is a fantastic location for attractions, dining, entertainment and more.

Cancellation Policy
Requests for refunds must be in writing by mail or email by October 30, 2019 and will entitle registrant to a full refund less a $50 processing fee.

Statement of Accreditation
AOA Credit: The Michigan Osteopathic Association (MOA) is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians. The MOA designates this program for a maximum of 24-26 AOA category 1-A credits and will report continuing medical education and specialty credits commensurate with the extent of the physician’s participation in this activity. 

Nurses: The AOA is approved by the Board of Nursing as an acceptable provider of continuing education for license renewal.

Outcomes Measurement Survey: 2 additional AOA Category 1-A credits offered for completing an online survey post-convention.
