Notice of Meeting Cancellation Ingham Osteopathic Association (IOA)
Please be advised that the Ingham Osteopathic Association (IOA) membership meeting scheduled for Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at 6:00 PM at the Kellogg Center
has been cancelled due to scheduling conflicts with other events occurring the same evening that significantly affect member availability.
We extend our sincere apologies for any inconvenience this may cause, particularly to those who have already submitted an RSVP, and we appreciate your understanding.
A future meeting is currently being arranged. Additional details will be announced on the MOA website, published in the newsletter, and distributed via email invitation.
Thank you for your continued support of the IOA.
The Ingham Osteopathic Association supports the osteopathic community from medical school through all stages of practice. Meetings include networking, presentations from medical resources and education on compelling topics from local physicians. Membership includes meetings, CME credits, leadership development and statewide networking.
Component Societies such as the IOA are important and integral components of the Michigan Osteopathic Association (MOA). MOA Component Societies serve four primary functions:
- Membership meetings provided to both members and prospective members in the region. IOA dinner meetings are supported by membership dues;
- Provide the opportunity for osteopathic medical professionals to network and discuss medical or practice management issues in a relaxed and social environment. Meetings also provide the opportunity to invite non-member osteopathic physicians to become involved in their professional society;
- Provide a forum for the discussion of local legislative and regulatory issues of concern or importance to osteopathic medicine;
- Provide an excellent opportunity to develop future state and national osteopathic medical leadership, with a strong connection to the Michigan Osteopathic Association.

Physicians Annual membership - $70
The IOA is the voice of the osteopathic profession in Mid-Michigan and the resource for its members in service to society. As your professional county association, the most important service IOA provides is unifying the efforts of physicians to improve our professional environment for our patients.

Interns / Residents Annual membership - FREE
IOA is your professional link to the physicians you will be practicing with in the very near future. The most politically active and connected physicians participate in your county organization with links to our state and national osteopathic organizations. IOA provides direct access to these leaders in an intimate setting that gives you a world of opportunities.

Students Annual membership - FREE
Many IOA members work as faculty, are alumni or have ties to MSU College of Osteopathic Medicine.
