ACLS/ BLS Course Resources

Due to the cancellation of the in-person Spring Convention at the Westin Southfield Detroit, no ACLS or BLS programs are currently offered through the MOA. At this time, we are advising providers in need of emergency cardiovascular care certification to schedule a training directly with the American Heart Association (AHA). 

Current classes and training centers can be found through the “Find a Course” search on the AHA website.

Statements of Accreditation

AOA Credit - Michigan Osteopathic Association is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians. The MOA designates this program for 31 AOA Category 1-A credits and will report CME with the extent of the physician’s participation in this activity.

AMA Credit - Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. MSUCOM designates this live activity for a maximum of 31 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)TM Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

CME Program Registration Cancellation and Refund Policy
Registrants for a Michigan Osteopathic Association continuing medical education program must submit requests for refunds in writing to the Association’s office. Requests for refunds must be in writing at least two weeks prior to the program and will entitle registrant to a full refund less a $50 processing fee. Refund requests received less than two weeks prior to the program will not qualify for a refund of the registration fees. Program brochures/registration forms and MOA web site shall include this information.
