The AMOA is the organization for the family of MOA members and assists MOA in public relations by promoting the osteopathic profession within their respective communities.

Medical Mission Fund
In the spirit of 2006/07 MOA President John Bodell’s presidential theme “Be the Difference,” MOA Board members initiated this fund in 2006 to support medical mission efforts. Contributions to this fund are tax deductible and are used to support volunteer medical missions to developing countries such as Peru, Haiti, Guatemala and Cuba.

MOA Charitable Fund
The Michigan Osteopathic Association's Charitable Fund was organized to promote community health and welfare. The Charitable Fund also serves to raise awareness of social issues and provide health education to the communities our physicians serve.

MOA Intern - Resident Fund
The MOA Educational Fund was established to support educational endeavors for young physicians from educational programs to textbooks. Funding is needed to make this possible.

Science Research Exhibits (SRE)
The MOA hosts a Scientific Research Exhibit (SRE) twice yearly. These competitions provide osteopathic medical students, residents, fellows and attending level physicians an opportunity to present their medical and scientific research to our profession. The SRE event demonstrates the very best of what osteopathic medicine is and reaffirms the profession’s commitment to the advancement of science in osteopathic medicine.
Please consider donating to this program that attracts and develops talent, while advancing osteopathic medicine.
